2026 Youth Group Lessons
Atholton Swim Club uses a logical, six-level progression that helps swimmers about 4+ years old develop their water safety, survival and swimming skills. It is designed to give participants a positive learning experience.
Note: Students typically spend 2-3 sessions in each level before progressing to the next level. Please take this into account if you are registering your child for multiple sessions.
Small class sizes of up to 6 swimmers per instructor allow instructors to pay special attention to student abilities and needs. To participate in youth group lessons, a child must be comfortable in the water.
Each swim lesson lasts for 30 minutes with start times at 10:20am, 10:55am, and 11:30 am. Our sessions run for 2 weeks: M-F the 1st week; M-Th the 2nd week. Friday of the 2nd week is reserved as a make-up for weather related cancellations. Session 5 is a mini-session and will only run for a single week, M-F.

Lesson Guidelines and Tips:
There is one built-in make-up date, should an instructor need to cancel a class for any reason. If that make-up date is not needed, the class will end on the Thursday of the second week rather than Friday. Please call the pool if you are unsure about the weather.
*There are NO additional make-ups or refunds for missed group classes.
Parent info: Parents are welcome to watch the lessons, however they are asked to watch from a distance that is not distracting to their child. Please allow the instructors to interact with your swimmer without distraction.
Fees: All credit card transactions will have a 3% transaction fee added to the payment.
Refunds: Requests to cancel a reserved space in a session must be submitted in writing to the Swim Lessons Coordinator at least two weeks prior to the start of the session to receive a full refund of the amount paid, minus any online processing fees.
No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the first day of class unless a medical condition is documented and sent to the Swim Lesson Coordinator.
All requests referencing medical issues must have accompanying documentation. Refunds initiated by ASC will be for the amount paid for the lesson(s), online fees will not be refunded.
Private lessons are scheduled directly with the swim lessons instructor assigned. Once lessons are scheduled, they must be prepaid no less than 24-hours prior to the first lesson. Cancellations less than 24-hours prior to the lesson will not be rescheduled or refunded except in the event of a documented medical condition.
